River Dolphin Driven to Extinction

Humanity has taken huge strides in its evolution and become the most dominate and widespread species on Earth. But at what cost? Over recent years, more and more people have become aware of the environmental crisis that is climate change. More than ever before, we are having to reflect upon our impact upon the world and the inevitable consequences of our actions. 

One of the many consequences is that of species extinction. And not just our own. For the first time ever, human beings are the cause of another species extinction. The Yangzte River dolphin has been declared extinct. And the majority of the human population has no idea. Some may not have even heard of this species. This is why it is ever more important to be aware and to actively take steps in our own lives to help them.
